Non-Curing Paste: Loctite 5113 is a smooth, off-white, solvent-based paste that does not harden over time, which allows for easy assembly, adjustment, and disassembly using standard hand tools.
Sealing and Lubrication: It contains PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for enhanced lubrication, which helps prevent corrosion or seizing of metal parts and instantly seals against moderate pressure. For maximum pressure and solvent resistance, a minimum 24-hour cure time is recommended. Versatile Compatibility: The sealant is suitable for use on metal threads and can be used on lines carrying various substances, including water pipes, alkalis (up to 10%), ethylene glycol, petroleum, and lubricating oil.
High Pressure and Temperature Tolerance: It can withstand temperatures from -65F to 300F (-51C to 149C) and seal pressures up to 5,000 PSI
